Ever wondered where the tea guys from the canteen upstairs went after they resigned?
On saturday, a bunch of the orange people bumped into Ken, the tea guy from Myanmar, who was here before Rob.
He's working at Cedele now.
Looks like the only way up is out. :D

Friday Faze: Let's Get Personal!
After a looong hiatus, Friday Faze was revived by its two crazy organisers.
The last FF of its kind -- FF5: Mission Up Close and Personal -- was designed to introduce the newbies and allow everyone to get to know one another a teeny bit better. That turned out to be a bonafide hit, so the idea was to recreate the experience as 90% of people from the last FF had already left...
Behind the scenes...
Hurdle 1:
Like the last one, a (new) list of survey questions was sent to everyone. As usual, it wasn't easy to get everyone to tear themselves away from their pressing work and fill in the 'frivolous' survey, save for some co-operative and kind souls. But in the end, almost everyone sent in their replies.
Hurdle 2:
Food for the event was provided by the canteen upstairs for convenience. Plus at $3 per person, there weren't a lot of other options! There was also a limited budget of $15 for prizes! :O
D-Day

The early-birds:
The crowd munching on the surprisingly decent fare (samosas, sandwiches, tea, coffee) from the canteen while waiting for the others:
Finally, it begins...
Part 1: Who's Who?
Task: Everyone had to introduce themselves and name four of their immediate cubicle neighbours*, or suffer a forfeit!
* Some people had pillars for 'neighbours' so it couldn't be helped :P
*Unfortunately, the two hosts were so caught up in the event that they completely forgot to take photos after Part 1! :O*
Part 2: MCIS's Believe It or Not!

Information gathered from the survey revealed some interesting trivia like these:

Votes were also tallied for the coolest guy and gal, and the most admired person.

Part 3: The Quiz Show

Everyone was divided into 5 groups to guess the correct answers to the tricky questions. Here're some of the most intriguing ones:

Getting physical, historical, scientific and geographical
RR --> R&R
The harmless prelude to the main event:
Then, at about 5pm (after her exit interview) KN returned to her desk only to discover something terrifying plastered on her monitor:
Will KN solve all the clues, complete the trying tasks set by the clue-holders, save herself and get to her prize?? Stay tuned to find out...
1. Lunchtime marathon runner: BB (who else but Boorathon himself?)
KN's task: to hold the cow and the tissue box over her head, walk a short distance around the office and say "Moo"
2. Wears gloves: RB (Err... we don't know why though...)
But he was out of station so XW took over
KN's task: to write 100 words about her first impressions of him, and (optional) tidy up the stationery and books on his desk. (Fyi: she wrote the thing and tidied up a couple of pens.)
3. Dances with skeletons (and does yoga with them too!): MV
KN's task: to do a yoga pose (note the expression on her face)
4. Quiet Biology guy: SH

KN's task: to sing a song (Copacabana)
5. Director of Bicara: II
KN's task: (another clue holder out of station, so KN got off easy) to look around his desk for the clue
6. The force that punches and binds: NH
KN's task: to give NH a shoulder massage
7. FP: MN
KN's task: to turn into Mad Hatter
8. Yellow Bird: AA.
KN's task: to do the Yellow Bird Dance
9. Physics Launch emcee: VB

KN's task: to French the Dutch [after some vehement protests from her, it was reduced to touch (Dutch) the Dutch]
10. Don't dutch me, french me!: RB
KN's task: to solve a brain teaser
11. Oolong tea: CC
KN's task: to solve three riddles
12. Will Smith wallpaper: NN

KN's task: To do a rap ala Will Smith
13. Just married: ES
KN's task: to answer one last question
... so that we can all help her look!
For the record, the guy who wins her heart will need to: love her more than she loves him, be caring, kind and generous (the last factor towards her only!)
14. Final clue: www.powerpuffpomme.wordpress.com (the farewell 'card')
15. KN's Bounty -- at last!

Giving her farewell speech
Oh yes, since the most interesting task wasn't captured properly on camera, we got 'em to do a re-err-Dutch:
