And what a trip it was. Originally requested to go to Shangri-La Hotel for a lunch buffet, but the dear bosses of MC, in all their infinite wisdom and unmatched intelligence, decided that it was not enough and decided to pack us all into two taxis and go to Kovan MRT (yeah, yeah) and feast at Hongkong Cafe instead

Yes, that was my stab at sarcasm. Did you not get it? ;-)

Some dim sum before the main course

Boiled (I think) vegetables buried under a mountain of fine shaved ice, to be dipped into a bowl of wasabi + soya sauce before putting in one's mouth.


My own main course...black pepper chicken with fried rice and vegetables, I think.

They look rather compatible to me, don't they?
