Finally, 3rd time lucky. Captain Haddock has not had an easy time putting this together. Always somebody was not free to meet up, and always it had to re-scheduled. It didn't help that people weren't exactly enthusiastic about the whole thing. This time I decided to heck it and go ahead whether or not anyone turned up. Even if it meant only Captain Haddock turned up - he would simply go makan by himself :-p
Fortunately, some people did turn up - KN, RB, MV and II. Of course, MV was never part of the Physics team, but her close association with some of us meant it would be remiss of us not to have her along for the ride. KN did not eschew her traditional manner of arrival - late as ever, although not fashionably =p Her chemistry with RB is second to none - you could almost see the actual sparks flying off between the two of them. RB, well, has lost quite a bit of weight. His face is thinner than before. I'm not sure if it's got to do with his hectic work schedule or the fact that he goes to the gym a lot (and in very short shorts too. This was kindly pointed out by MV who apparently is on the lookout for tall, blond ang-moh men in very short shorts. Hmm). II was his usual crackpotty philosophical self - uttering philosophical phrases so deep that I felt like I was grasping at straws. Obviously he's a man who has been there, done that, especially when it comes to affairs of the heart. Much to tell, this one.
We had a nice dinner at Makansutra, near the two big durians. First time that the Captain went there - he was made to feel almost un-Singaporean for this act of non-patriotism. II drove MV and the Captain down to the two durians. II owns a motorbike AND a car. And he's not married. The Captain wonders why he needs two vehicles...

We adjourned to Coffee Club afterward. Fittingly, the walls were a certain distinctly familiar orange...

I wish that I could have RB's bananas too, they look really yummy! :D
RB and KN are so like the "couple who could have been a couple"
Yeah, I'm gonna put MV in my Top 5 too!
"That MV's so hot right now!" :D
Why does every Orange seem to look their best, when they are actually leaving the Orange?
Thanx guys (",) heh
