Creamy blueberry cake

The sashaying birthday gal

Shy and demure

Blowing out the candles

Removing the ribbon

The smile that melted a thousand hearts (and we all know whose heart was melted most of all, eh?)

Everyone wants a piece of the photo-taking action

NT tells a dirty joke and has CY in a flutter. ES, on the other hand, has heard it all before and is almost non-plussed.

CY continues to grimace at NT's improperness. BB can't stop grinning at the innuendo. ES remains remarkably unperturbed.

LL: So when are you going to propose to me? I'm gonna need at least a 24-carat, size of my fist!
DK: *beads of sweat starting to roll down his forehead*.....erm...

LL: Well?
DK: *nervous* I think...maybe....err...I don't know actually...

LL: *rolls eyes* Should have known, you were never serious about me. Men!!!
DK: *phew*

What're you lookin' at, wise guy?

FP's top ten men

Seeing as to how the sixpack have reached the stage where they're now ... *rolling eyes* rating THE MEN (!!! cos no one else will?), FP has decided to release her all time top ten rating of the orange men. And as seems to be the (polite?) norm these days, they are in alphabetical order.

BB - The one serves as living proof that all does not end after marriage. He gives hope to millions of married people out there that life doesn't really change much. He's cute. And funny (well, almost). And the 'fitness freak' bit just adds to the appeal. No wonder many tie-adorned persons (of both sexes) like to pause by his cubicle.

EK - Packed with loads of attitude and a great manly voice, this one knows exactly what he's doing. The bad boy that you wouldn't wanna take home to meet mommy. He's in style forever. No matter how many times he leaves and comes back. Sigh.

J - One of the cutest guys to have ever hit the orange building, this one was around so long ago that his surname has completely escaped FP's memory. Probably the only orange man to have featured in a girly magazine as one of Singapore's top 50 bachelors. Of course, that he kinda looked shorter than his stated height in the magazine is a totally different issue.

KBA - Quite the ladies' man, this is one smooth talker who has sold books to many an unsuspecting foreigner of the female gender without them realising it. Behind the charmer, however, resides a kind of honesty that is visible only to those who as FP recently found out during a recent trip, hang around with him long enough.

RB - The most good-looking guy to have ever entered the orange. FP's reliable sources indicate that his interviewers had no idea about his qualifications or experience when they wrote their recommendation to have him "hired with immediate effect". The only minus point? He is too nice and too approachable to fight against the bad boys who're always in vogue.
ps: For the record, FP wasn't one of the interviewers. :|

Without mentioning names, here are the ones under the 'Also featured' category. These may not strictly fall in the 'hot men' category, but more in the 'guys to look out for' category. Many of them are also here purely by virtue of their brain power in spite of an obvious lack of brawn power. Ah well. But then this is FP's list and her type is brainy guys.

1. He's like a cute character from a Japanese Comic book. Only till he... err... starts talking.
2. Two words - cute smile.
3. Brainy dude who has a way with words. But he just doesn't like to show it. Possibly because he doesn't realise it himself. And that's part of what makes him so appealing.
4. Oh the sarcasm, the sarcasm! It's almost sexy.
5. Possibly the wittiest guy we have today.

Brothers Pink

To paraphrase Chandler from Friends: Could they be more pink? This was the highlight of a truly pink week in which the Sixpack somehow contrived to choose their Top Five GUYS, and allowed a girl to contribute her votes for Top Five Girls.

Pinkest week for Sixpack, EVER.

Tie-isms

After sitting in several meetings with 'The Tie', one comes to the awareness that The Tie has a certain number of frequently used phrases. Here are a few.

'I am thinking' - Often located at the beginning of a sentence. The active listener soon learns that the rest of the sentence often contradicts this.

'Immediately' - Is often used synonymously (and somewhat erroneously) as 'off the top of my head'.

'Ding Dong' - Slang for what happens when manuscripts go to him. Often used as 'Ding Dong back and forth'. In other usage, Ding Dong may also mean 'a chocolate snack' or 'a penis'.

Reader's contributions are very welcome.

'If you ask me...' - Usually found at the beginning of a sentence, this often indicates 1) nobody asked and 2) no one asked you.

'This mean that...' - A grammatically incorrect sentence opener. One speculates that this was irreversibly imprinted during four years of engineer training.
